Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Waist high Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Almost the same as yesterday at Shoreham. Only a bit less wind and quite a
few more people. Rigged 5.5m and overall it was the right choice for me.
Medium sized waves, giving sort of waist high rides on the inside. Plagued
by double up waves, wave selection was everything, looking for the one that
would give some distance and steepness down the line. Broke my boom after
half an hour just before the outside gybe, came back in on the unbroken
side and, as should be expected, lucked into a peach of a south coast wave.
Couldnt resist so scooted down the line with boom arm flailing!
Very good session in fun sized waves but good enough for a decent first
bottom turn and then a string of carves around the pocket.
